Kraemer Place Shelter

Kraemer Homeless Shelter - OPEN -

Please keep the homeless Shelter run by Mercy House in your prayers as they are working through operating the first year round county run homeless shelter in the OC.

This shelter does not allow foot traffic and it has created much down time for those who are the first served. During this stage the facility will accommodate 100 adults.  There is a secondary facility scheduled to open in July that will serve 55 persons with an emphasis on families.

Both facilities are looking to the faith community, cities and organizations to refer individuals to both shelters.  Some of the restriction include no open warrants and no prior felony convictions.

Some of the needs:
Mercy House is looking for our groups to sponsor breakfast and snack items pre-packaged & sealed(cereal, granola bars, individual bags of chips, nuts, cheese crackers, fruit snacks, cup of noodles etc.). Also gently used men & women’s clothing needed sizes med- XXL, new underwear, and new socks.

Wants:
  • Ping-Pong table   ✅
  • Basketball hoop
  • Engaging ideas
If you can help out with any of these items, or, wish to connect the site to other local resources please contact.

Post Resurrection Day Encouragment

I hope you are all doing well and your congregations thriving in the Lord.   So often the preparation for Easter Sunday can be taxing as visitors and internal expectations can cloud the intimacy and time with the Lord.   We know God is the same yesterday, today and forever and too often we can loose sight as we look at the waves beneath our feet.  I want to encourage you to take the hand of the Lord to rise above the circumstances around our ministries.

We are thankful to have a set meeting place across from city hall at Impact properties.  Please join us and stir each others faith with the good news of the gospel in our churches and in our borders of Placentia. Every Wed at 7:00 we gather to pray with other ministers of the gospel here in our city.

This video is an example of a testimony from one of our ministers.  When we share our lives and story we are encouraged in the Kingdom work that God has specifically entrusted to each of us.

Blessings and favor to your ministries.

New Location

New Location!!! Placentia's UPPER ROOM

377 E Chapman Ave

Now across from City Hall, meeting in the offices of Impact Properties. Suite 200

We started at IHOP and have moved to the Upper Room across the parking lot.  We are thankful to Impact Properties for opening up their doors for Placentia Pastors to make an impact through prayer.

Enter the Hospice Care of California entrance up the first stairs and back towards the credit union facing Chapman.   Our focus remains committed to prayer and building relationships among the pastors.  Jesus prayed for believers that we would be "One," just as He is One with the Father.

Knowing each other and praying together can set us on the path towards that type of oneness.   For surely He is faithful to show up "where two or more are gathered in His name."

Feb 7th, Free Evangelism Training w John Hendee

Hope University professor John Hendee a former missionary in Chile will be joining us Tuesday Feb 7th. “It’s All About Relationship” (IAAR) explains how he trains others to share good news with those outside the church. John learned pastors are gathering here in Placentia and agreed to spend some time equipping our leaders.

Have you experienced your great, eager and intelligent leaders struggle with evangelism?

"The most effective way for a non-Christian to hear the Gospel, embrace it, and surrender their lives to Jesus Christ is for a disciple of Christ to personally share the Gospel in a comprehensive, but concise way within a trusting relationship." - John more from website

We are inviting you to join us with four key leaders to learn more about IAAR in partnership with sister churches to equip our people to reach our city.
